Stages of Collaboration
Stage 1: Referral
The initial stage, referral, can be done in three ways: by phone, via our online referral form or via our ‘Statement of requirements’ form, which can also be found on our website. Before you decide to approach us we suggest that you read over the material available on this site, in order to better understand what it is we do, and why we are different from other business plan creators. You can also read about some of our past clients, and get a sense of the way we work and the environment in which we create, to our minds, the best business plan you can find. Some brief research on this site should also help you isolate and define your precise requirements from our team.
Stage 2: We get back to you
We promise to get back to you within one working day from the submission of your application. At this time we will also provide you with some answers to your initial questions. The first phone conversation with be conducted by one of our Business consultants and Project managers, who have the relevant experience to talk to you at eye level about your business. The first conversation also represents an important filtering tool for us; a NO-GO at this stage may stem from a range of issues, such as: the referee is not sufficiently prepared or clear about his/her desires, the business idea is still in its infancy and needs to be further developed before a viable business plan can be written, or the venture
and / or the referees expectations are simply not feasible or practicable.
Stage 3: Business Proposal
Applicants who have past stage 2 will receive a proposal within 3 working days, which will include a suggested fee and a detailed description of what you will receive for your money, as well as an estimate of how long it will take to complete your plan. At the end of this stage we will also decide on the recommended structure your business plan should take and set a date for our first working meeting.
Stage 5: The Work Begins
Once we have allocated the appropriate members of our team to your project, we can begin to work on creating your business plan.
The process of writing a business plan can be exciting, educational and often surprising, and demands that both our team and yours are willing to remain open minded. We like to say that this process is much like a 2-month crash-course in business studies – even for those of you who are already seasoned businesspersons.
Throughout this series of meetings both our team and yours will join forces to brain storm, and we will familiarize ourselves deeply with every aspect of your business. You will also have critical role in these meetings and come to them prepared, focused and on-the-ball. Every meeting will have predefined goals that we will all be required to prepare for. While most of the work will be done by our team, there will still be plenty of homework for you to do of no less importance – to think…
